I didn't know :iconeddsworld: on a friend to friend level. What I did know him from was my own friends. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about this guy. It blew my mind when I found out someone this happy could be afflicted with cancer. He never thought of it as an issue or complained about it. He just trucked through it.

Eventually we exchanged steam accounts and skypes and what have you, but we never talked too much. A conversation here and there. I loved that he liked my work and his drive to continue on made me want to work harder. I still remember us playing L4D (even though I ended up ragequitting at the end, haha).

I had no idea this would affect me so much... but I'm glad it does. It makes me strive to do more. I don't think this drawing does you enough justice to, but I hope it's alright for now.

Thank you, Edd.

I never new Edd personaly, but he was a huge inspiration for me. I kept checking the front page to see if there was some sort of memorial or something, but nothing ever showed. So seeing this just made me a little bit happier. Thank You

It's still hard to come to grips with it. Almost hard to believe, y'know?
But it's great seeing how many people are showing their respects, and how many people he has inspired.

Great post, man.

Thank you. I'm glad everyone likes it, I was really worried it'd be distasteful considering it's so soon. I'm really happy of the response this has had, and glad that everyone who's shown their respect.

I'm sorry man, it's always tough when a friend goes on before we do. Keep your chin high and take the way he lived as an inspiration for yourself, that will be the best way to make him know how much he touched you and your friends.

It's been tough, but I feel like this has been my own way of grieving. Thank you for the warm wishes c:
